Your Transformers Animated collection is now obsolete thanks to Takara

Find yourself a large trash bin and slide every Transformers Animated figure into it. Big Bad Toy Store has images for the Japanese version of the Transformers Animated figures and they are looking amazing! Why must you do this to us, Takara? First with Henkei, the Japanese version of the Classics line, then the movie figures and now this!

On first look, it's obvious that Takara is adding a metallic finish to parts or all of the figures as they did with the other Western lines. I might have to purchase Prime again. That red is looking sharp! Bumblebee looks more like Goldbug now. Bulkhead, now confusingly named Ironhide, loses the military green for a darker metallic green. Starscream's upper body is now metallic and the others are getting these minor changes as well.

Currently I may just be tempted by the shiny metal so my opinion may change once high quality photos are out. You can pre-order all of these at Big Bad Toy Store from $30 to $65. I may wait until the Japanese stores pick them up such as AmiAmi. Any one looking to replace part of their collection?
