Squishable is one of those companies requests feedback on their products (in this case, plushes) and not only listens, but delivers. They ask fans to vote on what critters they'd like to see next and showcase designs as they make their way from concept to squishy reality. Their next big promotion should draw in even more fans than before. It's called "Project Open Squish" and it gives aspiring designers, artists, and fans of cute and cuddly things to a chance to pitch their ideas for a plush release to the Squishable team. 

There are, of course, some requirements for plushes to be accepted, dealing with toy safety and copywriting, among other things (check out the rest of the rules and requirements on the official page). The prizes are well worth it, I dare say. Should your design be chosen to be made into a 15 inch plush, you will be rewarded with US$500 cash, a US$250 gift certificate for the Squishable online store, and get your name on the tag. If its selected for a 7 inch plush, you will get US$250 cash, a US$50 gift certificate to the Squishable online store, as well as your name on the tag.
