You'd have to be crazy to buy figma Insane BRS

As spotlighted by our cohorts at Japanator and Tomopop reader Esperkin, the Black Rock Shooter DVD/Blu-ray box set is getting a nice little surprise for those who bought it: figma Insane Black Rock Shooter. Insane is the proper word, too, because holy cow, the accessories it comes with are mind-blowing. You get both her smaller, single-hand sword and the huge, cannon-sized blade. Also, as you might be able to tell from her photos ... she's got rather pointy armor all over the place.

Unfortunately, there's two problems. One, it's sold out in a lot of places like Amiami. Two ... the box set at retail is almost US$300 after the conversion rate is factored in and it isn't subbed at all. I don't love Black Rock Shooter enough to put down that much for an unsubbed series of an anime I wasn't a fan of just for an awesome figma. Such a pity.
