Yoshitomo Nara's Gummi Girl is deliciously scary looking photo

Nosing around the interweb today, I was fortunate enough to stumble across these in a Super Punch toy roundup. Based on the memorable art of Yoshitomo Nara, these strange collectibles are meant to hold candy, but they could really be used to store anything. These come in several different sizes and retail for $59.99 through the Nara-Kami shop.

If you're a fan of Nara's art style, you should definitely browse through the shop as there's a lot more cool stuff where that came from. You can find a wide selection of Takashi Murakami plush and collectible figures there as well, and there's even a gigantic LUMINUS version of the Gummi Girl that glows in the dark. Talk about scrumptiously creepy!

Legacy Comments

Kind of annoyed at the Murakami sets that include Hiropon, but not the Lonesome Cowboy. I call Otaku Sexism!

Also, I really want a Nara King Pup. I think my actual pups would destroy it, though.
