Yoko Asagiri steps up for round two of pre-ordersDespite the lackluster reception here when she arrived earlier this past Spring, Griffon's Yoko Asagiri apparently made enough waves to warrant a re-release in fairly short order. Personally despite the simplicity, I found myself rather drawn to the classic design, though it may be my unfamiliarity with the source material missing something, well, missing on Griffon's part. I admit I am a bit surprised they decided to re-release her, though I suppose if you're looking for a figure with classic styling your options are pretty limited. I'll still say she's got her own sort of appeal, and I do like the sheen on her armor rather than having used a dull matte finish. It's hard to ignore that hair too, the sort of vibrant, unrealistic red that's a hallmark of the sort of colors seen so frequently in the past. If you missed her the first time around, get ready to snap her up come March for about ¥7,600. [ Pre-order at HobbyLink Japan | Otacute | Hobby Search | AmiAmi | CD Japan ] Did you know? 9:00 PM on 05.25.2013 [NSFW] Bite into a delicious Shirayukihime pre-orderI've said before that not all blatant fanservice figures are just trashy porn, and as usual, the masterful Tony Taka proves me right again. His earlier designs from Fault!! were absolutely gorgeous, and this original Snow Whi...
