Yes, Rotofugi's Roto-a-Matic really is working now

5:30 PM on 08.03.2012

You might remember us mentioning that Rotofugi's Roto-a-Matic is now working and producing Tim Biskup's Helper Dragon, but now, thanks to Kirby and the Rotofugi crew, we've got video of the machine doing its thing. Check out the video above to see it in action, or heck, if you're in or near Chicagoland, stop by to check it out! Tonight's the opening of Amanda Visell and Michelle Valigura's shows in the gallery, so you have a reason to head over there if you need one.

It's also worth noting that you can purchase the Helper Dragons online for US$6 (the same price you'd pay in the store) plus shipping, and there should be more designs in the future. I'm very interested to see who they'll recruit for the machine next and I'd hate to speculate *coughcough*ChrisRyniak*coughcough*64Colors*coughcough*TravisLampe*coughcough* but there could be some interesting pieces coming in the future! Who would you like to see in the Roto-a-Matic next, Tomopeeps?
