Yep, Plus Kareha's Black Rock Shooter is made of paper!

Oct 30 // Jeremy Emerje Crocker

Prepare to have your mind blown by the ultimate handmade custom figure!

Let's just cut to the chase: Plus Kareha's custom Black Rock Shooter figure is said to be made 95% out of paper, the rest is probably electronics and her flame! Even the 13 ball joints and stands are made of paper! This is easily one of the most impressive custom built figures I've ever seen. Hair, weapons, it's all paper. The coats (both original and TV versions), aren't paper, they're cloth, but they're meticulously hand sewn! It even has alternate faces and multiple weapons. This would be an amazing piece were it made out of plastic, I don't think there's a word to describe something like this made of paper. Trust me, I checked a thesaurus.

He's now working on Danny Choo's Mirai Suenaga in her Solar Marine uniform. So far he's got the head, skirt, and part of her boot finished. Previous figures listed on his website include Persona 3: FES' full armored Aigis, Evangelion's Rei Ayanami in her school uniform, and a chibi Miku Hatsune among some other works.

Can't wait to see where he goes from here! It takes him around a year to complete a piece so it'll be a while before we find out, but you can bet it'll be epic! Be sure to check the full gallery of both original and TV BRS in the meantime.
