Remember how Yamato was teaming up with Cerberus Project? Probably not. It has been a while. Almost two years to be exact. Well, after so long, we are now finally seeing Yamato's Ignis from Jingai Makyo pop up and they will attempt to blow your mind with their new Neuromancer line of poseable figures.
Just like Good Smile Company's now quiet ActSta line and the long surviving Gutto Kuru Figure Collection series by CM's Corporation, Yamato's Neuromancer series brings a 220mm tall figure that is close to the 1/8 scale range. Looking at the photos of the product, it looks like the quality is still the same as any other poseable figure, no matter the scale. Of course the chosen outfit doesn't help since it doesn't have much going for it to begin with.
Besides being loaded on top, Ignis will come with some parts and accessories like other poseable series. You're looking at two sets of hands, faces, a sword, a gun, and a display stand. What is interesting is that there are two eyes listed for the parts which has me wondering if you can just swap out the eyes like Kotobukiya's model kits. You know what else is interesting? Cast off skirt. ... Okay, maybe not so interesting.
I'm definitely interested in seeing this for myself since I'm always interested in the poseable figure series. If you always wanted some action from Ignis, here is your chance. She's retailing for ¥8,800 and will be available in June, 2012. Also, does a new poseable figure series interest you or is enough is enough?
