I always wanted one of those Sabers, but I'm not sure if I like the Lily version as much as the classic on this particular piece.
I read the banner "Gift is making figures again!" and then saw that Saber and thought "well they shouldn't have bothered" The expression on her is just a total wtf.
But that Dark Sakura is pretty awesome. Would definitely pick one of her up.

If you hunt for it, Mandarake puts up the original ver for fairly cheap (3000 yen) occasionally. The only ham I have with it was that the real-ver eyes look dull, but it looks like they fixed that with Lily and even one-upped the original on details. I think I'll be getting this and put my burning regret for GSC Lily to bed.

*caham* I think I've said that before, but that Dark Sakura was actually from Solid Teather. She goes together with their Saber Alter. She's really old, I think they broke before they got the chance to release her.

While I will agree that the figure as a whole looks great the face(Which is what i mentioned) is wrong in nearly every aspect. It doesn't even look like Saber as much as it looks like another character cosplaying Saber.
It's obvious to me that they were going for a more real look. Kinda like the Real image Yoko but they didn't come close to pulling it off in my opinion.

I'm sorry, the picture must not have uploaded, but yes there is a Tako Luka.
Okay, just checked that link to the other article and apparently the face doesn't look as good as it does in the header photo for this article. All the same, if it pops up on Mandarake that cheap I'll probably buy it.
