Wonder Festival Summer 2010: Azone International is always there to fulfill your anime doll dreams

Azone's claim to fame has always been its line of 1/6 scale Pure Neemo dolls. I see them as a company that brings out the economy class of dolls as they aren't great but easier on the pocket book as compared to someone like Volks.

The company, like many others, is still cashing in on K-On! as Yui's good friend Nodoka is revealed. Hey! Where's her awesome hat!? Also on display was the previously announced Sawako as well as the new uniforms for the girls. The company also had a cute display of the girls jamming on a mock stage.

Also on the anime front from Azone come the lovers Mikoto and Kuroko of To Aru Majutsu no Railgun, also lovers Nanoha and Fate of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, and Nymph of Sora no Otoshimono. The K-On! figures seem to work with Azone's style. Not so sure about these others, though.

Being that this is Wonder Festival, surprise revealings are the norm as is the case with the revealing of Nitroplus' Super Soniko in doll form. Soniko features her trademark headphones which is a plus as well as a much larger bust when compared to the other dolls. Is this really from Azone? Looks so much nicer. And I'm sure a lot more expensive. We'll have to wait and see...
