Wonder Festival 2013 Winter: Volks

12:00 PM on 02.14.2013 // Chris Seto

Oh Volks, you're such a tease. And not the good kind!!

Well, this is a little awkward! As usual Volks were at Wonder Festival but were surprisingly tight lipped about what was at their booths. Many of the usual sites simply reported on the new Charagumin Aliasse from Valkyria Chronicles 2 alongside the plethora of previously released GK which were made available again at the event.

Then cracks started to appear as Dengeki Hobby posted photos of a new figure as well as parts of a new Temjin figure as part of their previously announced Virtual On collaboration. But it took a blog post on the Volks hobby site to fill in the gaps!

The new figure is Shinguji Sakura from Sakura Taisen and she will be released as a charagumin kit at Hobby Round 9. Furthermore, the still-popular KOS-MOS ver 4 will be re-released as a charagumin kit as well. And, as a tease of epic proportions, Volks also posted blurry photos of their completed MoeKore+ Asuna from Sword Art Online as well as teasing what is blatantly figures of Airi and Neris from Shining Hearts to go alongside the already announced Amil. Amil is still the only one without a Dollfie Dream to her name though...

Finally, after probably running out of Senjutsuki to release, Volks will now be releasing figures of the BETA, the enemy from muv-luv!

Looks like I'm going to have to keep an eye on the charagumin Sakura but I'm pretty glad that I already have the 1/4 KOS-MOS. Posing her next to T-ELOS is pretty damn cool, as the photos from WF show!
