Wonder Festival 2012 Winter: One PieceHark, listen closely. Do you hear that? That sorrowful wail is my bank account weeping at the multitude of One Piece merch popping out of Wonder Festival. Fans of Shonen Jump's immensely popular cash cow will likely be joining me in depression at the thought of all the stuff that they'll be picking up in the next couple of months. Then again, those tears will be quenched when they get stuff in! For me, the biggest news comes at the reveal of yet another Portrait of Pirate. Joining the vaunted figure line is Arlong, the fishman that caused the Strawhat's navigator no end of trouble until Luffy came and slammed his foot into his face. I'm quite impressed that they went back and gave this guy a figure. Well, considering that the latest arc in the anime has mentioned him quite a few times, it makes more sense. Yay synergy! There's also a Bon Clay re-release, though this one seems to have gotten an updated paint job. What do you One Piece fans out there think? Will you be nabbing Arlong as fast as I will? [thanks to Tokyo Hunter for the photos!] Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
