It's hard to imagine that after nearly 6 years, the Revoltech line of figures by Kaiyodo is still going strong. The line has expanded beyond its roots to go the ways of American Sci-Fi, classic kaiju and even gods. With a new Wonder Festival, there have to be new figures, some of which will of course be Evangelion.
The big one for me in this show is Revoltech Alphonse Elric. Given the popularity of the show, you would think there would be more figures, but alas, this is the latest in less than a handful of releases for the spirited suit of armor. What will probably have you scratching your heads is Baby Milo, the mascot for the Japanese clothing line, A Bathing Ape. Milo comes packed with 3 hats, one of which being a bunch of bananas, and his base is the shooting star logo of the company. Unlike Alphonse, I can tell you that Baby Milo will be released this month for 2,828 yen.
Lastly, of course there are Evangelion Revoltechs. While I'd normally take out my stick and proceed to beat the dead horse that is Eva, I'm actually glad to see what they're remaking. People have been clamoring for the Mass Production EVAs to be reissued or at least remade. Thanks to what we're seeing at WonderFest, there's going to be a new MP EVA, so for once it won't be EVA Unit 01 for 17th time. That time will be saved for the third movie.
