If you're always looking for dolls of licenses not covered by Volks as well as can't cover their costs, you can always look to AZONE International for your anime, video game, and original doll needs. The company is covering quite a bit with what they showed off at Wonder Festival 2012 [Winter]. ...well, besides selling underwear from a vending machine.

As mentioned before the event, AZONE has a couple of exclusives with Aoi from WORKING!! and Sayaka from Puella Magi Madoka Magica who will be followed up with Homura. Also on display was Kurisu from Steins;Gate as well as Kuroneko once again from Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai. Coming as no surprise since it's one of the popular titles right now, though one that only fills me with rage, are dolls of Sena and Yozora from Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai. What comes as a surprise though is a doll of Houkago Play's Kanojo and as a bigger surprise, armored Saber from Fate/Zero. Did not see that coming from AZONE International what with Volks already releasing such a beauty.

AZONE International also revealed a new line of 1/12 poseable dolls called the P!cco neemo series. The series seems to only include two bust types: normal and BIG. Some of the outfits for this new series were displayed including a maid outfit, a Chinese dress, a shrine outfit, and others. It's an interesting idea and I'm curious to see where this goes. Plus, the pink hair lady Lily has a cute hair style. ...and pink hair. Then there were the original dolls that AZONE releases, some with lovely outfits, especially the Fear of Darkness version of Cecily.

A nice mix of things to come from AZONE International. Is there anything you see that has you thinking maybe, JUST maybe, you'll be picking up a doll for once? Or twice? Or thrice?

[Thank you to Tokyo Hunter for the event photos from Wonder Festival]

At Anime Central, Bandai had figures on display from their own line in the Bluefin booth, as well as D-Arts and SH Figuarts. There was nothing particularly shocking or brand new from them here. Most of their collection ...

Alphamax's one-piece Kuroneko is ready for pre-orders

We saw Alphamax's one-piece dress Kirino go up for pre-orders a few weeks ago and, as is the immutable law when it comes to Oreimo, Kuroneko was sure to follow soon. Now she's here, sporting a similar dressed-down look to Kir...
