One good thing to see back at this summers Wonder Festival was an increase in the number of mecha garage kits on the dealer floor. In recent years, the numbers haven't been too great so seeing this many at this Wonder Festival was really great!

The pick of the bunch has to be the two mecha from Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, although the patlabor mecha and King J-Der are definitely worth a mention. Also of note is the daikon ship which was from the fan video Daicon IV. I'm sure most of you know this but the makers of that particular fan video eventually made their own animation studio. They named it Gainax.

What about you, readers? Are there any mecha kits which piqued your interest?
