MOAR Wonder Festival:

Legacy Comments

I'm feeling guilty about this, but I actually liked Miku. I'm feeling guilty about this, but I actually want to grab her.

I hate exclusives like this =/ Not for being exclusives, but for being clearly money cows.

On the other hand, I think it's funny they're releasing an armorless Saber after many have already discovered you can take her armor off XD
Holy Money Cow Captain Capitalist! I'm Mcloving almost every figure shown here...all except for the Hoshi Aztecaser one, it's to flamboyant looking for my tastes.
I think I'll get that Miku for the June release. As for the Live Stage K-on! Nendos... way too much for my blood.

That's probably where they got this inspiration! I think its hot, but I feel wierd about her ready to fight without it on! That, and her face looks like she just woke up.

yeah, not that it's like any of us here were crazy enough to try...

Having said that, the "new" version does away with the greeves and gauntlets as well, The stocking only look for the legs look alright but the shoes don't seem to match. tho that could just be me.
The gloves seem somewhat pointless tho. Still, Better cast-off options available perhaps...
Aaaaugh!!! I soooo want!!
Snow Miku looks nice, but not nice enough for the ungodly amount WF exclusives tend to go for. Don't have any of the Lucky Star FREEing figures, so the outfits are useless for me. Saber Lily is pointless given that you can remove the normal one's armor, and I don't really give a crap about the K-On stuff. No idea WTF that Aztecaser thing is.

Overall, my wallet is safe. XD

Could you give me a link explaining how to remove the armour on the regular Lily ? I couldn't dare trying anything on mine...she just cost me too much...
Well considering I have all four of the 1/4 scale Lucky Star girls I would like to get my hands on those School uniforms and Miko Outfits however it seems Tokyo Hunter is not accepting orders for them. Probably because they cannot be had online.

I can always hope they have them available online somewhere in the future.

Huh, sorry, I think my comment was a bit misleading.

Don't do it. Don't try to take if off. It's not removable.

Thing is, her clothes are sculpted and painted just like this one under the armor. If you force the armor off it'll be like this, with some paint fails where the armor was glued on her.
And yeah, I hadn't noticed there were more differences than just the breast plate. But I dunno, the armored version is way superior...

Actually, they are and can be put back on with the minimum of fuss.

You just need the balls to try and do it!
So far the differences are rather minor compared to the original.

- Breastplate and side armour removed (really easy mod btw)
- Facial expression changed to a more deadpan look as opposed to a permanent scowl
- the white "underskirt" has replaced a completely opaque one seen in the original
- Gauntlets have been replaced with hand gloves and leg greeves have been removed and replaced with very basic shoes with stockings have been extended down as they are now visible.
- Caliburn scabbard has been added and connects directly to the hand as oposed to the original avalon, which was connected by a clear tube. Saber didn't actually hold avalon!
- Base is now red/white as opposed to black/white

@Xinyingho: this is as far as I got with my saber lily...

I really should go back and tidy her up one of these days...
Dunno if I should get one of these and mod it the same way. If I do that, I then have the flexibility to repaint the original into alter colours or something...
Ugh, Ui is breaking my heart!

Maybe I'll order her one day when I finally order that exclusive Konata Cosplay ver figma... :(
I like the new Miku, Mio, and Ristu nendoroids. I'll try to get them if I can find them for a resonable price. If not then I'll live.

I don't really care for this new Saber Lily. The original is way better.
Debating over Snow Miku. It really hinges on how much shipping will be, since it's expensive to begin with ($~50), and I'm trying not to spend that much on figures.

...I'm failing miserably. XD
