Win a free $50 Sideshow Collectibles giftcard! photo

Going to Comic-Con inevitably means coming home with piles of free stuff -- not such a bad problem to have. As you may recall, last year Sideshow Collectibles gave away gift cards at their booth and we gave them away here on the site. They were a little more careful about the quantity they gave out this year, but I managed to score one $50 and I'd like to give it to one of you. be aware that you can only use it on selected items, but there are some pretty damn good ones in there to choose from.

We're going to do it the same way we did it last year: go to Sideshow's website, pick an item you want and tell is what it is and why you want it in the comments. Next Wednesday, we'll randomly choose one of you as a winner and mail you the giftcard, simple as that. If you need some inspiration, check out our Sideshow gallery as well. Good luck!

I think there is a specific list of items on Sideshow's site that you only can use the gift card for. If they have changed this rule, Woot! But if not, the list is located on the same page where you check your card's secret value.
@Kinman -- Yes, that is true -- thanks for reminding me. I'll update the post now!
The figure of Rem from Death Note, mainly because it's one the cheaper figures from the selection, and Death Note is a rad manga series.
The figure of Pluto - Cause he is a sexy beast.
I'd definitely get the Viking Mickey. That mixture is too awesome to pass up. I was raised on Mickey. Besides, I can't afford spending extra on any of the really cool, really expensive stuff.
That adorable Winnie the Pooh with stitching popping off in the back. His expression is adorable with a derp looking face. :]
I would definitely purchase the set of Carl and Russel from Up, even though id have to toss in a few bucks. Those things are beautiful. The pins on Russel and the soda cap and tennis balls on Carl have amazing detail. Now I just cross my fingers
DO WANT the Kunou Ryushin Medicom from Crows X Worst!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I WOULD have used it to help but the "Mellow - The Gentle Confectioner" collectible, but seeing as they haven't included that in the list, i'd buy the "'Swirl Eyes' Rabbit" it's so random and adorable, and exactly the amount of the gift card! I'd love to add another collectible to my growing collection ^_^
I would definitely love the Motoko Kusanagi PVC figure by Organic. Nothing says sexy and deadly than nice firm 'assets' and a tactical suit that fits well.
Ya, I would really really really really want the Rem Death Note figure, just because I've always loved the long lankyness of his limbs. Mmmmmmmm.
I want the Real Action Hero Tiger Stripe Camo Naked Snake. Why? Because it's fucking Naked Snake.
i would get Michel gange's Swirl Eyes figure, based off his book Insanely twisted rabbits, because there simply isn't a better title out there, and his new computer game, Insanely twisted shadow planet seems to be overflowing with his wonderful style.
I want Storm Shadow because he is fully undressable, I mean because he is a ninja outfitted with a sweet GI Joe bow and 2 swords, and he can fight my Snake Eyes.
I would choose the Pirate Cheshire Cat because I have wanted one of these fine collectibles every since I became aware of their existence. In Nov. of 08' I had seen a behind the scenes video with Bobby Hundreds and some Disney artists, and one of the artists had the full collection of the then available Vinyl Cheshire Cats...

But, I never seem to have an extra $100+ to snag one up.
I'd go for the bound Misa figure, though I wish it came with a ball gag, as gagged is really the only way I can stand Misa for more than 30 seconds ;>
I still want that Cammy figure that costs $249.

Wait, I can't enter, can I?

I would buy the Skull Kid from Majora's Mask because not only was that my first Zelda game ever but it's also my favorite. I loved the sad story of the skull kid, it was one the several touching moments in the game (Getting the couple's mask being on other one) So, owning a statue of him would be a great honor for me to have. Just so I can always remember the skull kid story's of friendship and the loss of it.

Besides Majora's Mask was an awesome opponent and has an awesome design.
I really, really want the Carl Fredricksen figure, but out of the eligible figures I'd have to choose between either Jack Krauser or Misa (Straightjacket).
Well lady this site had slipped by my radar and they have gained a customer for life. I love Mort the Zombie as well as Tofu the Vegan Zombie. And if i have some extra cash around after PAX I am buy the Shaun and Ed figures from Shaun of the Dead they are amazing and either way thanks for makin the post so I could find all these awesome toys Lady.
I would get the Hellboy II Samaritan Gun because it just look awesome! Who wouldn't want a giant gun to make you look like a bad ass!
I'd get Subject 138: The Street Prophet. Why? Because zombies are effing awesome!
Carl and Russell Cosbaby Set. I'd totally want the actual figures of them as well. Because they are amazingly crafted. But having lost my father a few years ago, the movie struck a cord with me. He was an adventurer like Carl and his wife. And I loved that. I got to see it with my mom who came out to see me. And I cried. I'll totally admit it. I'd love to be able to get these. And probably with that card get a second set to send to her. I know she'd like that too.

I'd totally go for the Misa from the list! I know a friend who'd be super jealous if I showed him that lol. But seriously, Misa figures are hard to find, yet this one expresses that scene so well that it's simply amazing!
