Who is Krisoft? photo

I've noticed that when looking at any type of collectible art that's very different, or that other people label as "kind of strange", that's my cue to look at the same thing and find it wonderful. I've often championed the strange, and so when I browsed Super Punch today and discovered these lovely dolls, I knew I had to bring them to you as some of you may like them very much as well.

Created by a French artist who goes under the moniker of Krisoft, these objects d'art are made of paper and have been featured in several shows in France. If you want to inquire about purchasing any of them, you can contact the artist at krisoft25@yahoo.fr. Be sure to check out the gallery for more unusual examples of the artist's work.

MOAR Who is...?:

Legacy Comments

Oh wow, thank you for posting this! These look charming and remind me of old fairy tales.
Those seem made out of papier machie. There's some people that hate it but I love it when it's done right and painted horribly (which of course isn't the case here. Lovely painting!)

I know this wasn't on purpose, but posing them together with all those different sizes kinda adds to that fairy tales charm they have.
Ehrrr... I meant NOT painted horribly. I should proof read my comments before I send them, not after >.>''
