So who is João Silva? Well, to start, he's a customizer of miniatures and vinyl figures from Portugal, with Qees seeming to be his platform of choice. However, as you can tell from the gallery, João's not afraid to tackle any number of different vinyl figures, including Munnys, Fat Caps and TeddyTroopers, to create something that looks unique.

Not only does he paint custom Qees, though, but he makes his own original toys out of a number of materials, including wood, cardboard and plastic. For example, the BumBullBee custom you see in the header was made from cardboard, balsa wood and plastic, then painted over with a cool little paint scheme. It's really cool to see that not only is he a talented painter, but he can create cool little custom canvases out of such simple materials as well, giving them a simple but eye-catching design. If I hadn't known any better, I'd be trying to figure out what vinyl platform he used for those customs to no avail!
