Though I'm not a big fan of Titty Tousen, I think this is pass. It's almost a grand. D: Which is probably amazing for a fan of the series.

We post a lot of Ikki Tousen (or as Bryan Coffee fondly calls it, Titty Tousen) around here, so this post certainly isn't complaining about the series. No, no. We like tits here at Tomopop. What we don't like, however, is to be broke in a way that guarantees that we may not live to see another weekend, and that's about what you've got in store for you if you want to own the Gothic Version Shimei doll currently being sold through Toys Logic for $839.99 (on sale!).
Now, some dolls cost a great deal, such as Latidolls, which I am infamously obsessed with. The level of craftsmanship on a Latidoll is painstaking, however, which is clearly reflected by the dolls' haunting, nearly human expressions. I'm not saying this huge (just under 2 feet tall) Shimei doll isn't cool, just ... not $839.99 cool. On sale, no less.
This got me thinking about the line I draw on how much I spend on toys. I could never spend this much on a doll, and even if I had the money, I think I would prefer to spend it on something else, or for that matter, multiple other items. You can get a pretty solid haul of toys for $900, especially if you hit up that insane Entertainment Earth sale that made my day today. What do you think? Worth it, or simply playing on that eternal Achilles heel of the toy collector, the need to always have more?
[By the way, if you are insanely rich and want to order her, preorders are open now and she comes out this December. Kid Nemo has her for $751.99 -- almost $100 off! Ooh!]
