Wheelbarrow's new Dunnys are clearly eye-catching photo

Ryan the Wheelbarrow has some new entries in his ty_po custom toy series available, and they're clearly a little different. Bad puns aside, the new C-THRU ty_po Dunnys use nine transparent Damarak the Destroyer 3-inch Dunnys from Dunny Series 2010 (7 clear, 2 light green) and 1 KOA Dunny from way back in the French Series as bases. Scrubbing the original designs from their bodies, Ryan has then applied his dry transfer lettering to the Dunnys in unique patterns and packaged each in a screenprinted blind box.

Also available are a 5-inch text_r MadL and a 2-inch ty_po Labbit done in similar styles. Everything is for sale at Ryan's shop at the following prices: US$75 for the Dunnys, US$50 for the Labbit and US$150 for the MadL. Any of these really appeal to you, Tomopop readers?

Meet Davidkraig at Kidrobot NY's May 18 customizing event

Want to come check out some live customizing and meet artist Davidkraig? If you're in New York City, you can do that on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Eastern at Kidrobot New York (118 Prince St., SoHo, Manhattan).  As for what he'll be working on ... I'm not too sure. But you've seen his work before, and I assume he'll be sculpting out/painting something just as impressive for the event.
