It is true that I find the photos for What Toys Are Up To all over the internet as I travel its depths during my week, but this week I thought I might share with you one of my favorite Flickr communities that I often tap for submissions for this column. It's called Toy Photography - THE OTHER SIDE, and you can easily join it with just a click of a button. As you can see, I submit there myself regularly!
One thign I really dig about this group is the tutorials they have posted. The lightpainting one is an absolute must read, and the one on lighting setups is extremely helpful if you don't know where to begin when it comes to using light to your advantage. After all, if you're going to blow all this money on toys, you may as well have some fun with them, right?
