What is the Otomatone? photo

Giant Robot's Eric Nakamura posted about this cool gadget on his blog, and I couldn't help but find that I wanted one right away. If you are staring at it wondering what exactly it does, the easiest thing to do is hit the jump and watch a video of its creator playing it. This event took place at the Giant Robot store on Sawtelle in Los Angeles a few days ago, and you can watch the crowd digging on this little guy as Tosa Novmichi shows of fits many talents.

I love how everything in Japan always has a happy face. I wonder if that kind of makes the Japanese want to tear their hair out?

Wow that guy is awesome. How does it work? Is it like air pressure or something? Or electronic?
