Wave's boyish Makoto Beach Queen available for pre-orderMakoto from The Idolm@ster is known for being a little "boyish" much to her dismay she is often not dressed in the most feminine clothes. However, this Makoto is not too boyish at all in this latest Beach Queen figurine by Wave. Of course, it is hard for a girl, in a swimsuit to look even remotely boyish isn't it? Well the lower part of her outfit does have a boxer shorts kind of look to them! Regardless of whether she is or she is not boyish, Wave did a great job on this beach queen figurine. My favorite part about this version of Makoto is her pose. It shows so much action! I can just imagine her dancing around and play-boxing on the beach in this cool to cute outfit. Its colors of white and black stripes with red accents just seem to add extra energy to her pose. Maybe it's the strong contrast that amps this up for me? Like most every beach queen I have seen she will be made to 1/10-scale, standing 16 cm tall. Also she will come with an optional face where she has her eyes closed. Personally, I would prefer to see those pretty eyes open, and would opt for her first face. If you're interested in ordering her, Makoto comes with a low entry price like many Beach Queens of ¥3800 and should ship out in late May of next year.
