Wave releases another bevy of bathing beauties

Wave - 1/10 Scale

Never ones to rest on their laurels for long, Wave is gearing up to drop not one, not two, but three new Beach Queens on us in the coming summer, and there's something for everyone here. Rather than releasing a set of characters from a series or even similar releases, Wave is just seeing what sticks and bringing characters from comedy slice-of-life Joshiraku, harem comedy Kore wa Zombie, and the particular odd duck out, Sonic Soldier Borgman.

They've all certainly got a good amount of appeal, however! Joshiraku's Mari stands out with fiery hair and an appropriately rakugo-colored inner tube, though her bikini clashes a bit with the accessory. As for Kore wa Zombie's Eu, it's no surprise they went the fetishistic school swimsuit look, even with her ever present helmet and gauntlets. I suppose they're one of the few things that make a blue-haired twintailed character stand out as unique. Finally, Anice is certainly racier than most Beach Queens in general, though I'm not complaining. With a classic look and an extremely sexy backless swimsuit, she may take the top spot for me amongst the trio.

Whatever your tastes, all three will run around ¥3,100, and as said, will be arriving just in time for the summer heat in July.
