It may not be as big or as well known as it's rivals but Volks are gearing up for their biannual showcase event in the shape of Hobby Round 8! And this event looks to be catering for the model kit builders very well!!!

The Charagumin T-ELOS, which has been teased at various events since being announced at the last hobby round event, has finally been marked for sale with a price of ¥39,900. Now, before you all gawk at the price, I should mention that it's pretty good considering that she's 1/4 scale and especially if you look at previous kits in the same scale. KOS-MOS was ¥50k and Bayonetta was ¥46k! Remember that those were for unpainted kits!!

There will also be a completed figure of T-ELOS up for grabs in a charity auction, though chances of us winning that are slim to none!

Also of note are the colour pics of Miho from Girls and Panzer and our mystery Walkure Romanze girl from Chara Hobby has been named! Say hello to Ryuzoji Akane! As she is a simple kit, Miho will cost ¥8,190 while the more complex Akane will command ¥12,600, as will Alicia Melchiotte from Valkyria Chronicles. Other kits on sale at the event will include Gaurry and the chibi Lina Inverse from Slayers and chibi Etna along with some new additions to the Vlockers line!

And finally, some words of warning. According to the site, T-ELOS and Akane are Hobby Round exclusives and, judging from previous events, Volks are pretty strict about this kind of stuff so if you don't get them at the event, there's no guarantee that they'll make them available at a later date. Gaurry and Alicia also look like they will also have some Hobby Round exclusive extras.

But at least readers will have some time to plan their attack. Hobby Round 8 will be held on the 28th October so we all have a month to prepare. Of course, that also means that Volks have an additional month to add stuff with which to assault our beleaguered wallets!
