It was last month that we saw a scan of Good Smile Company's 1/8 scale Miku Hatsune Cheerful Ver. but it wasn't the greatest of scans. Luckily this month we get a much clearer look at this jumping for joy Miku who brings her support with her pom poms and cheerleader outfit. It's a cute looking figure and I like stands of hair the are flying from her descending jump. Another sign that it's a descending jump is pom poms which, also look nice. ...though makes me think of noodles since she's unpainted. The only problem I really have with this figure is the way she's bending backward. It comes off very unnatural just like the Tony Take version of Miku.
Speaking of Tony Taka, the latest scans also show us a colored preview of Luka Megurine, the one that I'm really excited for. ...However, we're only teased with a look at Luka from the back. Thankfully she'll be making her full debut at the upcoming Wonder Festival 2012 [Winter] on February 12, 2012. Luka's hair is featuring a translucent hair tips going for her and some beautiful gold painting. Wonder Festival, I cannot wait for you! Gah, Luka, such a tease...
Are you excited for either of these upcoming Vocaloid releases? Or are you hoping for someone else to be released. Like a certain guy. ...that will probably never get released. ...despite the growth in demand for male figures. Just do it already Good Smile Company! You know people want Kaito!
