It's finally that time folks. After all the hype on (and off) the air, Tomocast will finally be hitting up Akira Toriyama's animated classic, Dragon Ball Z. We'll of course be talking about the series that was and still is...
My memories of Master Replicas takes me back to working in a game store at Christmas when the new light sabers came out. We opened a few up because, well, you have to show the customers how they work- which is to say- they were awesome. Oh how I'd love to work in a video game store now. Master Replicas has announced the pre-order for the new Halo 3 Covenant Sword with all the same bells and whistles as the sabers. If you thought you were set with your Halo-related merchandise, you ain't seen nothin' yet.
The video does a good job of showing off the five different sound effects and lighted (pulsating, even), blades that round out this detailed beauty. If you want to pre-order it from Master Replicas it'll be $199.99, or you can get it from CornerStoreComics for $20.00 off the full price, and $30.00 off at The Saber Vault. Retail is $199.99 if you want to wait for the onslaught in the stores, and should be shipping early December.
All you need now is Cortana, and you're ready for anything.
Rifter01: I'm sure they're not to be abused of course, but I know the things we did to the light sabers in my store- all they got were a few burnt out lights along the chain. The way the lights were set up, it was a bunch of little ones so that you could barely notice. We smashed those things and they were pretty durable. I'm sure a little playing with them is fine.
