ValleyDweller is out to get some ghosts with his vinyl Pac-Monster
You know what I haven't seen in a fortnight? A good custom Pac-Man of any sort. Artist Jeremy Dale, a.k.a. valleyDweller, was able to reach inside my soul and determine what I haven't seen in a long time but would be rather pleased to discover. Hence, the Pac-Monster was created. Perhaps the decision had less to do with me (oh come now, everything has to do with me) and more with Gallery 1988's Old School Video Game Art Show, but whatever the case, I like what I'm seeing.
Made as vinyl customs from Buff Monsters, valleyDweller has crafted some very cool yet very simple pieces here, with the Pac-Monster standing 3" tall and the handful of ghosts, coming in both the colored and blue & white edible versions, clocking in at 1.5". Wait, edible for Pac-Man, not you guys. Don't ... don't try to eat these. Anyway, it's really all about simplicity here and that's what I'm really digging about these Pac-Man customs. Simple can be very good.
So then, time to open up the floor to haters and boosters. What do you Tomofolk think of these? Yay or nay?
