ALTAiR strikes a home run in this duo

It's been a while since we heard from ALTAiR on the status of their Uta no Prince-Sama figures, the teasers for which were shown off at Wonder Festival (Summer). In the short time since then, the ALTAiR blog published a full preview and the figures have gone up for pre-order!

We've got Ittoki and Tokiya, two of the key boys from the game turned anime. It's kind of a nice combo, since Ittoki is the friendliest/most loyal and Tokiya is the toughest in-game route (and the last one in the anime to open up). They both look absolutely fantastic in figure form and are hard to resist.

The boys are wearing their idol outfits and are posed like they're in concert, mics and all. They also both come with two expressions and have been reproduced faithfully to their source art. Overall, a big win for fan girls of all kinds, but especially the kind that are fans of UtaPri. I absolutely love that Tokiya is all smiles, too.

If you're interested in these figures, each is set to be released May of next year barring delays, and the price is set at ¥7,800. The boys are scaled to 1/8 and look extra shiny. After seeing these pictures, I'm excited to see the next release!
