UpLark's K-On Mio prototype looks a little pale photo

By now, it seems like Kyoto Animation has created a holy trifecta of otaku-adored anime: First they brought us Haruhi, then Lucky Star, and now the musically inclined K-On. Even as much of an audiophile as I am, I've never quite seen the appeal of the series, though one character has always stood out to me--and if the amount of character goods and fanart is anything to go by, she's the favorite of the adoring public as well.

upLark clearly recognizes the appeal of the lovely Akiyama Mio themselves, and have now shown off a prototype of their newest figure. Featuring Mio in fetching gothic attire, as based off one of the episodes of the series, it looks set to capture her personality exquisitely. Unfortunately, no details are known at the moment other than the fact she's slated for a winter release. You can be sure we'll be keeping an eye on this one!
