Update on the Master Grades of Gundam Unicorn Banshee

I got a bit ahead of myself when I last talked about the Master Grade edition of the Gundam Unicorn Banshee. When images became available, the kit was featured to show a light-up gimmick. However, the method of how it lights up is not a LED, but rather a special material designed to react under UV or blacklight. I'm glad I was completely in the wrong here.

I'm honestly impressed by such a simple step, but it will give the Banshee kits that much more pop to them. It does make things a bit easier now as I don't have to paint those parts and it will give me the effect I've wanted in Unicorn kits for a while now. The only thing that I'm scared of at this point is that I know they'll go back and apply this to the original Unicorn kit as you have to buy them all.

With both the OVA version and novel "Final Battle" version getting this treatment, I'm screwing my wallet over and getting both. Stupid, stupid budgeting, but hey, glowing parts > food. The OVA (gold Psycoframe) will be released as normal in March for ¥5,500 and the novel, Bandai Shop exclusive retails for ¥5,250.
