Under the Radar: Sega's Kuroshitsuji EX prize figures better be nicer than the Trading Arts ones photo

Remember those Kuroshitsuji Trading Arts figures that Rio posted late last year that I was foaming at the mouth over? Well, I had a chance to see them up close at personal during my trip to Otakon a few weeks ago, and well ... either I'm a trading figure snob or these just aren't very good figures. I did pick up the chase figure, which is Ciel in his pink dress from the episode of the show where's he forced to dress as a girl, but I honestly didn't want to own any of the others (and that's saying a lot for this Kuroshitsuji-obsessee!).

These new EX figures (see gallery) are actually Sega prize figures, which would normally mean they are hard to get your hands on outside of Japan. Lucky for me, the set is open for preorder through both Toys Logic and Hobby Link Japan. The set of Sebastian and Ciel retail for about $39 or you can buy Sebastian on his own for $20. I want to just preorder him, but I should wait until I see him painted just to make sure he doesn't suffer from crappy prize figure syndrome.

Should I take a peek at this series and see what makes Colette so foamy in the mouth? Kinda curious... heh
I'm still angry that I got into this show too late to get my hands on the Sebastian nendoroid. Hopefully they re-release that. As for the trading arts figures, I've never been into those that much. I just think they look low quality. And I really can't tell how much I like these just based off of just the pictures at hlj.
Under the radar? I was pretty sure these were new O_O;
@Eva - I googled and a few other sites had it up about a month ago. Oh well.

@Tony24601 - I think they will reissue Sebastian. If you subscribe to the Hobby Search newsletter or keep em in your RSS fed you'll see when they restock him. I get reissues of figures I missed that way all the time!
I was also thinking of pre-ordering these when HLJ first listed them as their "early bird" but I'd like to see the painted version first too. And preferably some nice close-up shots if possible before I make a must-buy decision.
Ou Colette I had to STOP and stare at the header picture for 10 mins :3 trading figures tend to be pretty low quality, I don't blame you for thinking of this way.
Actually, Sega prizes have better qualities than a typical trading card figures.^^
