Under the Radar: Paladone's Make Your Own Movie kitsAs far as amusing concepts go, Paladone deserves special credit for their Make Your Own Movie kits. Sure, the kits themselves look a bit on the cheap side (given that it's a paper or cardboard) but the general style is neat and it looks cool for having 2D elements in a 3D environment. So far three kits have been announced in the forms of a "Zombie" movie kit (header), a "Sci-fi" movie kit, and a "Monster" movie kit. The sets seem to include a backdrop then several free-standing characters and props. It's hard to know what to think of them. The kits don't seem to contain much nor does there seem to be much value but, at the same time, they're only US$9 apiece which seems to be around the budget for The Asylum's films.
