Our recent post on October Toys' SDCC booth reminded me about the OMFG! Series 2 Kickstarter ... and that I somehow missed posting about it before. Series 2 is again being done by October Toys, a.k.a. Ayleen and George Gaspar, who are following up Series 1 with five new designs:

• - Puke Knight, designed and sculpted by Jared DeCosta (aka redjarojam) from Massachusetts
• - Shirtle, designed by Kenjitron from Hawaii and sculpted by George Gaspar
• - Cry-Borg, designed by Andrew Scribner (a.k.a. RuFuS) from Rhode Island
• - Cuddlehard, designed and sculpted by turboPISTOLA from Tennessee
• - Grimm Gourd, concept by ScruffyNerfHrdr from Kansas, designed by Charles Marsh (a.k.a. Monsterforge) from South Carolina, and sculpted by Mike Fleming Jr. (a.k.a. M-Flem-Jr) from Colorado

To help raise US$12,000 in funds for Series 2 production, October Toys has set up their Kickstarter with different prizes at different levels. Everyone who donates gets an OMFG! sticker, but the levels include different colorways of Series 2; hand-painted Series 1 figures by Monsterforge; and the top donation level, at US$5,000, includes a personal sculpting/molding/casting lesson from George as well as an appearance on Toy Break (yes, airfare is paid for), plus a ton of other goodies.

There's 17 days left to go for the Kickstarter, and George and Ayleen are about US$1,900 short of their goal. I have this feeling they will get to their target, but still, if you want some of the exclusives like those hand-painted OMFG! Series 1 figure sets, you have to help fund the Kickstarter!
