Troy Stith's The Guardian is a tree-mendous sculpture photo

Troy Stith has been quite busy as of late, as he's had many projects on his hands. He's sent along pictures of his latest, and handmade sculpture called The Guardian that he was commissioned to do. In fact, those of you with good memories should remember that you've seen this piece before, just in an unfinished form. It's a cool looking piece with lots of little details like the prayers tacked inside the tree's hollow interior. The commissioner of this piece even wrote something up on their blog about it, providing a little bit of backstory to this creation.

Troy's also been quite busy getting ready for DesignerCon, where he'll be at the ToyPinionated booth with two other artists. He's sent us a sneak peek of the first Miscreant plaque of a new series he's doing for the event, as well as letting us know he's working on a new kaiju project. Should be interesting to see what turns up from him in the future!
