TriForce to unveil Gears 3 Torque Bow replica at NYCC
We've seen TriForce's replicas before and they've been quite impressive, but at New York Comic Con, they will be revealing at least one more addition to their offerings. The Torque Bow from Gears of War 3 is being made into a 1/1-scale limited edition replica by TriForce. The Torque Bow is only an impressive looking weapon ... but a huge one, so I imagine the price will not be cheap, probably US$225 or higher. The big reveal happens at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at the TriForce booth (#1057). Lifting the curtain on the prototype will be Carlos Ferro, the voice actor for the Gears of War series' Dominic Santiago. You'll be able to pre-order this beastly replica at the show and those who do will get a limited edition print featuring Dom wielding the bow. Carlos is also doing signings at NYCC on Friday, Oct. 12 immediately following the unveiling (approximately 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.); Saturday, Oct. 13 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 14 from noon to 1 p.m. Did you know?
