Treasure Festa in Ariake 7: Itacars, idols and live eventAnd now for something completely different. It may come as a bit of a surprise but Treasure Festa wasn't all just about garage kits and Griffon stuff. There was actually a section dedicated to Ita-cars and there were some bona-fide idols there as well! There were several groups at the event and they all belonged to the Alice Project group. They provided the idols for the event and even organised a live event after the main show! In total, there were six groups present and they were: Alice Juuban were the headliners at the event and it is they who are gracing the banner. Yes, those are hockey masks they are wearing and yes, in a few of the pics, they are brandishing fake chainsaws and machetes. The description we were given were that they were kind of like AKB48 mixed with Slipknot, but to their credit, their fanbase seems to have a distinctly older average age than Slipknot. Their material seems the be very much the typical idol fare as well. However, I guess the hockey masks and crowd surfing does help distinguish themselves from their rivals (even if they did cheat by using an inflatable boat)! Is there anyone among our readers who are well versed in the idol scene? Were you aware of these groups before now and (most importantly) would you go do an after event like this after fighting for your hard earned garage kit purchases? [Many thanks to Tokyo Hunter for the photos] Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
