Toys 'R' Us exclusive MU X-Factor set to premiere at SDCC
Remember that Marvel Universe X-Factor set that popped up in a Hong Kong Toys "R" Us a while back? I'm happy nonplussed to report that Marvel.com has announced that it's coming to America as well later this year (which you kinda had to expect) but, before that, will be available at SDCC. While I'm personally unimpressed by the set, I imagine that others are probably looking forward to it. Marvel's press release mentions that the "collector pack" will feature artwork from X-Factor #1 (1986) on its packaging. I'm honestly not sure why they wouldn't just toss a reprint of the issue in there as well. This release just strikes me as being incredibly lackluster. At any rate, if you're interested in picking it up, the MU X-Factor set will be available at SDCC for US$50 before hitting Toys "R" Us retail shelves (and presumably the website) later this year.
