Toy Fair 2012: Mattel - WWE

It wouldn't be a Mattel booth at a toy event without a whole ring, err, booth full of WWE figures, would it? Of course, they had just that at Toy Fair. The one that was the most front and center (no surprise) was Triple H in his King of Kings attire from Wrestlemania past from the Best of PPV line. Also at the booth were Bret Hart (in his most recent attire with the jorts *sigh*), Daniel Bryan, Sin Cara, Dolph Ziggler, Michael Cole, Cody Rhodes, The Bella Twins and a nice mix of other WWE Superstars.

But on the other hand, there's like three different Rey Mysterios, two John Cenas with biceps that look ridiculous and a Rock that looks a little bit off. And somehow, Alex Riley has a figure but I still don't have my John Laurinaitis/David Otunga two-pack with Otunga's coffee Thermos. Are you serious, bro?

On the positive side of things, the WWE Legends line will have the already revealed Andre the Giant, along with King Kong Bundy and the two figures I'm most looking forward to, Arn Anderson (in hs Brainbusters gear from his early 1990s WWE run) and the one and only Diamond Dallas Page. Also in the mix for the Elite Collection Series 15 is the legendary Yokozuna, which is awesome (unlike The Miz currently) and perhaps backs up some of the rumors that he's going into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. They're the only three I can say I'm going to buy right now.
