Last week, we showed you Kotobukiya's newest Bishoujo figures that they had on display at Toy Fair. However, pictures from behind glass are not entirely true to what a figure looks like, so we decided to go back towards the end of the convention and the representatives were kind enough to take out a few of the figures so we could bring you a 360 degree view.

So check out the gallery for a closer look at Ms Marvel, Black Cat, Jean Grey, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, and Sue Storm! We don't have any extra pictures of the new Emma Frost because the one on display was a rough prototype, and they have decided to go back and change her skin color to a clearer color. Of all of these ladies, I think Ms Marvel is my favorite, but what about you Tomopeeps?

Damn these all look gorgeous

These look much much better outside of the glass, thank you for the pics

I like Black Cat's base alot more now though I am still dissapointed the spider-man plushie didn't make it onto there

My top 3 are

Ms. Marvel
Black Cat
Sue (although she seems out of character)
Black Cat is still the only figure in the entire line that I really like. The Wonder Woman is also nice, but I hate that weird belly button on her girdle. The Sue Storm is also pretty damn nice although, again, there's a crazy resemblance to Maetel (and doubly so thanks to the clear portions!). Actually, I'd love to see that Sue with Maetel's crazy Russian hat on.
Ms Marvel looks nice, but the face just doesn't sell it for me. I don't know why it just seems off. I really like Black Cat but the base puts me off as it looks flimsy and I've had similar bases before where eventually the figure breaks off. She's really cute though.

I do like Supergirl, even with the hair antenna. She looks a lot better than I thought she would. Wonder Woman is also very nice, though as Scarecroodle mentioned that belly button was a silly idea. I preordered both of them since I'm a fan.

Having another look at Jean Grey, her face isn't so bad. I very much like the pose, outfit and base. I might order her when she's up. Sue Storm just never has been a character I liked. Though it's a nice statue for her fans I would guess.

The clear/diamond version of Emma I didn't like. Shame that some better images weren't possible. I really do like the standard one I have, but it just doesn't seem to have the same impact when I had a look at it again.
My fav would be Black Cat cos she looks cute here.

Somewhat related question bcos it's Kotobukiya;
Whatever happened to the Bayonetta they announced?
@DamonDaSaru: There was a huge issue with the license, which apparently hit a lot of companies, thus why we haven't seen any PVC figures of her yet even though she's very popular. The issues are just being worked out (which is why yamato just unveiled a figure of her in the works), and Koto is retesting to see if she is still popular enough to produce. Chances are she is, and we'll she her in late 2011!

@saige: In regards to Black Cat's base, it's actually surprisingly sturdy. We'll have a review of her (and Catwoman) up in a few days, and BC is a lot more stable than I thought she would be. The peg in her foot goes WAY into the building and the extra support balances her really well. When we shot her, she didn't tip over once even when we spun her around and bumped into her a bit.

And the new Emma is going to look a lot different in the finished version, less green/yellow and more clear/blue so it's more "diamond" thus why we didn't take any extra pictures of her. ^^

thanks for the answer.:) did not know yamato was doing her as well.

looking forward to the cats reviews.

heh. did thought that "clear" emma was a bit lemon jello. glad they're making her better.
Thanks Leah :D

I might wait for your review on Black Cat then. Hoping Diamond Emma looks good, but the prototype was just not that interesting.

I'd go for a good Bayonetta PVC figure. Sure most would.
Meeeooow! ;3
I'm really liking that Black Cat.
She's definitely my fav of the bunch.

BTW noobish question, but um how much do these usually retail for?

$50~60. I think the MSRP is $60 but a few sites have their preorders set at a bit less.
Ms Marvel's face just stops me in my tracks every time I come across a photo. It's gorgeous.
