Totally affordable Bertie robots from 3A open for preorders

We fell in love with Ashley Wood's Bertie robots well over a year ago, but at $300 a pop, not a lot of collectors could afford to get their hands on one (or manage to save long enough to afford it!). However, we've just heard news via Superpunch that a new set of the Berties has just opened for preorder through Tenacious Toys - and they are only $45 apiece! Wow!

At 6.5 inches in height and with full articulation, there are simply a steal. You can choose from one of five styles too: Deep Powder, Desert Combat, Dutch Merc, Marine and Medic. These will be out next January. Anyone planning to pick one up?
