Top Gear presenter James May to live in a glorious house of LEGO photo

So many times you've built them growing up, but have you actually thought of living in a house made of LEGO? Well, Top Gear presenter James May will be putting it to the test as his soon to be LEGO home nears completion.

It was only just started on August 1st in Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, Surrey but is set to be near its final stages by the weekend. If everything continues to go as planned it will be the first full sized house to ever been completed by using LEGO. May says he's ready to stay there for two or three days, or until it falls down, whichever comes first. He says, "If I wake up buried under a pile of bricks I'll know it's gone wrong."

The house is being built as part of a new BBC show titled James May's Toy Stories where James will take childhood toys and use them for new adventures. He says "For too long now we have regarded the great toys as mere playthings. It's time to use them to bring people together and achieve greatness. And I bet it'll be a right laugh as well." It's only a matter of time before we find out, and hopefully his LEGO home will be an outright success!
