[Update: We have a winner!]
We write about Evangelion toys a LOT. It's not because we are all Eva fanboys and girls around here, but because the frequency of figures released for this seminal series never seems to to show signs of slowing. The latest figures we were sent over courtesy of our sponsors, Hobby Link Japan, was the collectible set of Evangelion mini figs from Kotobukiya which came packaged with special edition UCC canned coffee to celebrate the release of Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance.
Hit the jump for an unboxing video of these cute little boxed sets. Also, I heard a rumor that there's an easter egg in the video that may allow you to win the full set of figures. I wonder if that's true?
Sammy Kammy Studios is a relatively new name in the world of plush, but looks like she's got something that's pretty interesting. Sammy is planning to make and sell plush Mass Production Evas from End of Evangelion. She was a...
More Treasure Festa coverage? Sure! Let's take a look at two more kit makers with some popular characters. Mana Mode brought two different Asukas with them, one of her in her plugsuit and the other featuring her jamming out w...
Spotted at Treasure Festa in Ariake 9 were Atelier Hiro's gorgeous Miku kits, along with his Girls und Panzer pieces. The two Mikus look particularly amazing; look at the detail on her hair! I especially like the one with the...
Amie-Grand had some nice figures at Treasure Festa with my personal favorite being Asuka. I like the concept, with her chilling on a really cool NERV-themed base.
You can also see a polystone 1/6-scale Chuubou Sonken from Ikk...
It's easy to make fun of American's for being food gluttons, but Japan sure does love to do some crazy food promotions! Remember that Windows 7 burger that was offered at Japanese Burger Kings a few years ago? Well say hello ...
It seems like even longer than a couple years ago when we took a look at Amie Grand's gorgeous gothy Rei of Evangelion fame. In the time since then, I've grown no love for the overly popular character, but nor has any been lo...
For smaller companies, Miyazawa Model Exhibition serves as a good place to remind us what they're coming out with. Both Ques Q and Vertex did that, with Ques Q bringing its swimsuit Aisaka Taiga and school uniform Aegis....
Products rarely survive by taking risks. Companies stick with what customers want from them and will take their money in the process. When it comes to Revoltech, there's a sure-fire way to make sure that the money they need w...
If you just can't get enough of Revoltech's take on the Evangelion mechs (and heaven knows there have been a lot) then this latest two pack might be just the trick. Kaiyodo have taken the previously released Revolt...
Vertex seems to have a thing for girls with swords, if their prototypes at WonFes 2013 Winter were any indication. First and foremost, the previously announced Mitsuru was there as a full unpainted figure ... but I dunno abou...
