Tomopop Review: ThreeA's Commander Carter

Are Spartans that are made larger better?

ThreeA has grown from a niche company making their own items to making those of fabled franchises. Metal Gear, Mobile Suit Gundam and Portal have seen their names cast into the lot of figures, but arguably, the largest franchise acquisition was Halo. It was a bit of a shock when the license was announced at the ReVenture show last year, but nonetheless felt like a perfect fit.

The first figure of the license is a 1/6-scale figure of Commander Carter-A259, the lead of the last of Bungie's efforts in the series, Halo: Reach. While ThreeA has built its pedigree on outstanding 1/6-scale figures, it remains to see how they would handle such an established license as a six-scaled Spartan.
