DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE ACCESSORIES OF THIS FIGMA, THERE WILL BE MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR THE VISUAL NOVEL OF FATE/STAY NIGHT, ALL PATHS. PLEASE TURN BACK NOW IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO BE SPOILED.
I love Fate/stay night. It's a brilliant story with some of the most awesome and GAR (badass) characters you can find. The main character of this EPIC is Shirou Emiya, that boy who through a series of rather odd events became the Master of Saber, one of the most powerful Classes that exist in the Holy Grail War. He may know next to nothing about magic, but that won't stop him from being a complete badass!
After many months of waiting and after the countless Sabers and Rins (and some Riders), we finally have a figure of Shirou! Does his badassery and GAR transfer well to Figma form? Can he die when he is killed? The answer to these questions and many more will be answered after the jump!

I dig this box. This box is cool with the hill of swords you see at the start of the visual novel. As you can see, it has the command seal symbol on the front of it, which is pretty cool but other then that, it's a box. What more do you expect?

Now this is what you get out of the box. You can see some of his main accessories but not all. Let's get a better look at these accessories.
So you get the following as the accessories: The Kanshou And Bakuya swords (Shriou's/Archer's perferred blades), Archer's right arm, Shirou's badass face, and the Berserker Sword. All in all a damn good set of accessories that you will see more of later. Now, the hands:

Shirou gets four sets of hands. Two slight different splayed hand sets, one set of fists and one set of weapon grabbing hands. I have to question why their are two sets of splayed hands but it's really no big deal. There are enough hands to keep anyone satisfied. The best thing you'll notice is that all the "left" hands have command seals on them which is just cool!
That command seal looks damn cool doesn't it? But now let's see him with some swords!

You can see the GAR face which always looks amazing on him and some of the two swords, but now I think it's time for the main event!
TRACE ON!
That's right; after Shirou got his left arm cut off, Archer being the cool guy he is (and the fact that Archer is Shirou, which really helps the transplant, and that Archer is dying at the time) Shirou gets Archer arm's graphed onto on him and with it comes insane power! So much power, in fact, that he needs the Shroud of Turin on the arm to make sure it doesn't kill him! That wave of cloth on Archer's arm is the former Shroud of Turin and it is COMPLETELY POSEABLE! It is on a swivel joint allowing it to go all 360 degrees and stay in any one place.
But Shirou didn't just unleash the arm just so that he looks cool. No he needs it to use the most impressive weapon at his disposal!
Trigger ... OFF!

That's right, folks; while fighting the DARK BERSERKER, Shirou realized he needed to unleash the arm and attain Berserker's original blade in order to defeat him! And this thing is just to EPIC! This is was half the reason I brought this Figma and it was SO WORTH IT! Let's take a closer look at it!
This blade/axe has details galore on it, it looks and feels like an old blade and looks damn cool. I espeically like the ridges on the edge of the sword; it really adds to the weathered look of the sword!
My final thoughts on Figmas: I NEED MORE FIGMA'S! No, really, this toy has made me realized I need more Figmas. They are poseable as anything else these days, have really cool accessories and come with little cool things that normal toys don't (ex., hand rack and free bag).
My final thoughts on Shirou Emiya: This is a great toy if you enjoy Fate/stay night, even if you've only seen the anime, but it helps your enjoyment if you play though the visual novel (like everyone should). All the parts and Shirou himself are amazingly sculpted, he is very poseable even when he has the Berserker Sword and he just looks like a GAR as hell when he has the angry face.
Summary: Buy it if you are a fan of Figmas and Fate/stay night, but it has to be both, not one or the other.
