One Piece is a series that lends itself well to PVC. The art style combined with the bizarre characters and costumes make for some pretty entertaining statues of both men and women. As I've said before, the best of these statues belong to the Portrait of Pirates line from Megahouse. Beginning with just the Strawhat Pirates, the P.O.P. line has expanded to a line of extra large figures, plushies, and now includes alternate costumes with the introduction of the Strong Edition line. Based off art from the One Piece movie Strong World, these statues have the Strawhats wearing dramatically different costumes in new poses.
I have the honor of presenting Cat Thief Nami, the navigator of the Strawhats. Hit the jump to get a peek!

Here is Nami in her full splendor. The pink boa that rests on her shoulders is made of pink plastic. It's translucent, so you can see through it and it has a different texture than the rest of the PVC. The plastic covers Nami's tattoo on her left shoulder, which can be exposed if you pop off the figure's head and remove the boa. Personally, I prefer the boa as it is unique and really separates her from her previous incarnation, which you can see below.

The Nami on the left is actually the second version of her, based off the Water 7 arc of the manga. I really dig it for the flirtatious stance it has and the expression on her face. Well, the Strong Edition Nami isn't as flirtatious as Water 7 Nami, but it's a whole lot sexier. The stockings that lead up to her garter belt accentuate her long legs. The tight dress is a bright and shiny PVC, so it looks extra nice on Nami's busty body. Speaking of that garter belt, I'd be amiss if I didn't mention...

PANTSU! Nami's panties are the most detailed thing on the whole figure. This is odd because the only way you can see the panties is if you remove Nami's torso, since her dress is a solid black and her legs keep any panty shots from happening. I appreciate the sculptor's perversion and salute him!
What's that I hear? Nami isn't pleased with me showing her panties? Well, what are you going to do about it? You're only a toy and I'm writing this re...
What the hell?!? Give all that back! Alright, alright, I'll stop talking about your panties, sheesh.
Anyway, Nami comes with her weapon, the Climatact. The top pops off so that you can move it into her hand and level it with her heels. It doesn't really add any sort of stability, but that isn't necessarily bad since the pegs at her feet keep her stable enough. Unfortunately, that's the only accessory that she comes with. Unlike most of the Strong Edition figures, she doesn't come with a giant gun of some kind. This is probably because she already has a weapon, unlike most of the other characters in the Strawhats. It isn't awful, but it would've been nice to have her posing with a huge gun.

So while she is a bit plain with her accessories, Nami looks phenomenal and is worth adding to your One Piece collection. I don't know if you'd like it if you weren't a fan of the series, I can say that if you have any interest in One Piece (or pretty panties) you'll love her!
