We're fans of Erick Scarecrow around here. We've seen him put a lot of awesome vinyl out there, and there's no question that the guy is talented. But how does that translate into plush? Rio brought us word a while back on his Mousey Micci, produced by ESC-Toy, and we were excited to find out.
We've got this fuzzy critter in two different colorways, and the difference isn't just in their hues. Follow after the jump for a hands-on look at Mousey Micci in all of his spooky/adorable splendor in our full review.

Those of you who know me are already aware that I'm a sucker for anything that manages to combine cute and dangerous in one package. Add to that the cudly factor, and you'll understand why Mousey Micci's appeal was instant. This guy comes in your choice of five colors, and the two we'll be checking out are Snow Attack and Pink Rage.
The Snow Attack Micci seems the calmer of the two, with blue eyes and accents.

The material he's made from is fuzzy and kind of bumpy ...

While the Pink Rage colorway is velvety and smooth. Both are equally soft and squishy, so it's up to you to decide which surface you prefer.

The eyes are solid quality embroidery, and also vary depending on colorway.

You can see the tiny differences when the two are placed side by side. The Pink Rage version certainly seems the angrier of the pair.

Both feature a dangle string poking from their little noggins, which is also of quality material and makes them suitable for hanging from just about anywhere.

And they've got curleh mouse tails.

Great color choices on both, with the tails and feet matching the inner ears of the mouse suit to create a nice overall balance.

FEETS.

My favorite part by far is the spooky eyes visible in the mouth of the suit. It's such a small detail, but makes for such a cool effect; stating that there's more to this character than what appears at first glance. The outer face of the suit looks very happy to be here, but who knows what the little dude on the inside is thinking.
Erick and ESC-Toy have ignited a great sense of imagination with just a tiny bit of yellow thread. Micci just wouldn't be the same without it, and having that seemingly small detail in place adds a tremendous amount of character and personality to this piece.

I do like 'em spooky.

Overall, just a rad little plushie. Seemingly simple, but with tiny details that make the character far cooler than the sum of its parts. These guys are 8" tall, and will run you a measly $15 each. They're being distributed by DKE Toys, so you can head over there to adopt one for yourself.
Awesome quality to match an awesome little character. Tomopop highly approves and welcomes Mousey Micci to our humble planet. Check out the gallery for more photos.
