Personally preferred ES Liberty series. Mebbe it's the snakes zzz

I've been a long time fan of Erick Scarecrow's work, but it wasn't until now that I got to own one of his masterpieces myself. I have the great pleasure of now having his Medusa vinyl figure in my home, and let me tell you, I'm more excited than I can stand. Please allow me to share with you my newest vinyl obsession that is probably going to jump start myself back into my vinyl collection.
Hit the jump to check out my stance on this beautiful figure!

First off, Medusa comes in a pretty rad box that includes artwork of her surrounding the box, as well as Erick Scarecrow's signature and the ESC Toys logo. I love that it's window packaged as well so that if you don't have a specific place for it when you get it, you can still see what awesome looms inside the box.

I absolutely love her outfit, as the half-top Asian influenced shirt matches well with her baggy pants and high tops. I'm in love with the color scheme as well, with the white, red, grey and black work very well together, especially in this piece.

One of my favorite parts in her amazing high top sneakers. Her right sneaker looks normal, but the left one is a bit more sneaky with the snake's mouth opened up with its teeth bared. All the colors are perfectly placed and make me want a pair of sneakers like that so ridiculously bad!

One of the most amazing things about this piece is that it actually has 6 points of articulation. Her head moves at the neck, as well as each of the individual snakes heads moving as well. So if you'd like to make the snakes lick each other, or whatever tickles your fancy, you can move them as you please.

Her face is beautifully sculpted, as is the entire figure, but her face is just beautiful the way her eyes flow and her beauty mark is just dotted beside her left eye. Her hair is marked with snake diamonds that match the snakes and meld in with them perfectly.

She's actually very tall, and from the top of her snake hair to the bottom of her sneakers she measures in around 13 inches tall. I just adore the entire character design from the red streaks in her hair, to the amazing sneakers that I absolutely need a pair of.

Sadly, this beautiful figure was limited to only around 300 pieces, so if I'm correct they're all sold out now. But don't worry! Apparently the Black Mamba edition is the first colorway, so hopefully there will be other colorways coming soon so everyone will be able to own this great piece. This rotocast vinyl figure is definitely not one to be missed though, so if you can find it online or at a local toy store I absolutely suggest you go on the search. It was originally released at $60, but keep an eye out on ESC Toys' site and you might get a nice surprise if it ever surfaces in their store again.
