It's Christmas Day - Santa's come, left the gifts and joyous times were had. That is, unless you were trapped in a blizzard like myself. I instead decided to play with toys at the house, and took some shots of the holiday Vinylmation figures I picked up in Disney World while I was there for my birthday.
Hit the jump to check out the images and see what parks these little cuties came from!

Not only did I pick up three fantastic holiday tin Vinylmation figures while I was at Disney World, but as an early Christmas gift I received this adorable Princess Tiana blanket from Princess and the Frog from my Mom. So being as I love this blanket so much, I used it as the backdrop this go around. Now onto the real review...

While on my search I found three different tins, two of which being from different parks. It was a lot of fun to hunt around for different toys while I was there. Had I had more money I would have gone so all out, as there's so many things there that are so full of magic and awesome you just can't get enough.

The two park tins are the ones above. The one on the left came from Epcot, as it shows the giant ball that stands in the middle of the park, while the one on the right is from Hollywood Studios showing what's to look like the The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights that takes place at night.

The part that makes me laugh is that they come wrapped in blind boxed packaging, but the card showing what figure is inside is already in the tin and open before you attempt to open the bag. Not that it matters because there will only be one kind in each tin (unless there are chase figures I didn't see).

The first figure I picked up was the one from Epcot, which I found quite adorable. It's Mickey as a Christmas tree and the ornaments show different flags from countries all over the world. I love the way they took the flags of places in the World Showcase and used that to illustrate how it's from Epcot while adding a holiday flair.

The second one I got my hands on was the toy from Hollywood Studios. At Hollywood Studios they have a magnificent light display set up called The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. The figure stands as a fun version of the lights display in a vinyl toy showing some of the displays they actually had at the event.

The last holiday tin I picked up was the generic holiday version, which was at both Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. I absolutely love what this one looks like, especially the colors, since I'm a big nut for lime green. Gingerbread Mickey makes me a happy camper that's for sure, but definitely don't try to bite off his head or you're in for a not so good time.

The bottom of the feet of all of the Vinylmation toys have both the Art of Disney Parks logo, as well as the signatures of the artists who designed the piece. One of my favorite parts though, is the secret bit on the Epcot tree figure.
If you notice on the bottom of the feet it also has an image of a pickle. My family has one of those traditions where you race to see who can find the hidden pickle ornament on the tree, and whoever finds it first is suppose to have good luck for the year. Since it's a family tradition it was neat to see that appear on an ornament, as perhaps artist Jeff Ebersohl does that as well!

It's good to see that all of them are decorated on the back as well, that way they work well no matter what way you look at them. Well, except the Gingerbread Mickey who definitely looks better when you can see his cute face.

If you happen to live near Disney World, or plan on visiting here in the new future I would definitely suggest you pick up some of the Vinylmation figures no matter which ones you find. You can get the tins for $12.95 each at their respective parks.
I admit I was originally quite skeptical about the Vinylmation series, but I've definitely fallen in love with them the more they make. I can't wait to see what the new year brings for the series, and I hope I can get myself more in the future!
